Electro-spun nano fiber of carboxymethyl cellulose – curcumin and its applications

چکیده

Cellulose is a prominent scaffolding polysaccharide found in plants as micro fibrils which form the structurally strong framework cell walls. It has wide variety of uses such attacking agent, emulsifier, stabilizer etc. Its use can be further enhanced by converting cellulose into derivatives. One most important derivatives carboxy methyl (CMC). In present study, converted to CMC thereby preparing – curcumin nanofiber using electro spinning method. The functional groups identification was done UV Visible spectroscopy and FT-IR. Surface structure analyzed Scanning Electron Microscopy. antifungal activity studied against Aspergillus niger Candida albicans. . antibacterial activities also for samples E.coli, Klebsiella pneumonia, Streptococcus mutans Staphylococcus aureus.
